A story lies at the very edge of the Hacienda´s gardens: the sighs of a Queen, castles, hermits and valleys are the witnesses of time, surrounding the Hacienda with their legend.

Hacienda Jacaranda is located on Queen Isabel de Borbon´s old walking path, the wife of King Fernando IV (XVII Century).

According to the legend, Miraflores de la Sierra owes its name to Queen Isabel, who one day, during her long walks toward El Paular Monastery, resting at the foot of the Najarra Mountain range, looked over the valley and exclaimed " Look, flowers" (Miraflores)

Walking from the Hacienda, between ash and oak trees, we arrive at a rocky area where the San Blas Shrine can be found.

The Hacienda´s surroundings exude history from every pore. It is convenientley located only a few km. from Manzanares el Real, where the magnificent Palace of the Marques de Santillana can be found. In addition, close by, the El Escorial, Valle de los Caidos and the Palace of La Granja de San Ildefonso can also be visited.
